Société Francophone de Médecine Tropicale et Santé Internationale (SFMTSI) (the former Société de Pathologie Exotique) – The Francophone Society of Tropical Medicine and International Health Société de Pathologie Exotique France.

The SFMTSI initially founded in 1908 under the name of Société de Pathologie Exotique, by Louis Alphonse Laveran, Nobel prize of medicine in 1907 for the discovery of the causative agent of malaria. Focused on the study of human and veterinary tropical diseases, public policies, hygiene, control of epidemics and epizooties, and related medical aspects of migrations and travels.  The SFMTSI is a recognized public-interest association, state approved since 1962.
