NNN ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2024, 1-3 OCTOBER,
KUALA-LUMPUR, MALAYSIA
The 2024 NTD NGO Network (NNN) Annual Conference has been held in Kuala Lumpur on 1-3 October. The theme of the Conference was "Collaboration for Change: Fostering Global Equity and Strengthening Community Engagement in NTDs."
Our Chair, Dr Marco Albonico, has been invited to give a talk in the Equitable session “Promoting Equity in NTD Programs” on “FESTMIH: Equity, Networking and Collaboration for Advancing Global Health”.
Young scientists were encouraged to speak out, and particularly the international young NTD network has been highlighted, and participation of young scientists from endemic countries was encouraged.
A parallel informal meeting was also held with national NTDs network to which the following representatives were present: UK, Italy, Canada, Germany, US, Japan, UTC NTDs, and other observers.
