NTDs affect over 1.6 billion people, 858 million people received treatmen in 2023, 54 countries have eliminated at least one NTD by November 2024, and almost all countries are endemic for at least one NTD. About 15 billion treatments have been donated by the pharmaceutical industry between 2012 and 2023.
